Nicaragua is in the center of Central America with San Juan Del Sur located on the Pacific coast just a bit north of Costa Rica.
Villa Escondida is at the south end of the town center in Barrio Frente Sur. Access is via all paved roads, NO four wheel drive required.

Actual addresses in Nicaragua are a little strange, often referring to landmarks which no longer exist!
Although we are on located on Calle El Calvano none of the homes have actual street numbers, many streets have no signage and some maps will call this road Entrada de San Juan because it was formerly one of the roads you could drive into town on. This doesn’t work so well now that it is a one way road out of town!
Directions:
When you travel into town take the 2nd left after the Uno gas station, south on Avenida Gaspar Garcia Laviana. Next take the 5th left, east on Avenida La Bolsa. You will pass the church and turn right at the first street, south on Calle El Calvano. After a couple of gentle curves the road rises slightly where you will find Villa Escondida is the 2nd last house on the right before you get to a steep hill up to Paradise Bay. There is a Villa Escondida sign on our gate.
